About

Zi-Jie Yin is a visual and installation artist whose practice is rooted in relational aesthetics. Through site-responsive approaches and performative events, she explores the shifting relationships between place, artwork, and viewer. She often works through on-site research, participation, and everyday encounters, allowing meaning to emerge through shared experience. Moving between social structures and poetic expression, her work engages with ecology, collective memory, and cultural narratives, using temporary actions and interventions to reopen connections between people, place, history, and one another.

Recent works are dedicated to practicing the criticism and reflection of the cultural industry, extending her concern for culture and ecological awareness, and embodying the contemporary art through the neutral deployment of symbols.
